The only argument is it is owned by the CCP. However, like most bans, they experience mission creep. Our industry understood this and why we may not have agreed with Max (rip) we knew he had the right to make his product. Banning him would have led to mission creep, which would have led to a myriad of cross genres being banned in the fray, or in the next round. Anyways, we are being controlled by al gores rhythm, and it’s this that’s causing the mass formation psychosis. Algorithms targeting people, groups of people, is what needs to be banned. Not a platform. They should be required to provide open source monitoring.Comment

To ban TikTok is not going to happen. Read the first amendment. If they could ban this app, they would ban porn. It will go to the supreme court and they have no proof that TikTok is doing anything that any other company is doing. This is political gamesmanship, because, instead of working to make our country better, they are pissing in the wind for TV time. This is why we are fast becoming a third world country.
