18.4% officially, but tbh food is about twice as expensive. A kilo of tomatos is about 10 euros now.Mechanical Bunny Media

Stuff has really gone up - Especially Food (Something I buy a lot of)
Used to get 2 lots of fish & chips delivered - It was £8 per portion = £16 - Would hand the delivery guy a £20 and tell him to keep the change.
Then suddenly its £9 per portion = £18 - I still did the same...
Today its £13 per portion! = £26 !!! And on top, they want a £3 delivery charge... That's nearly £30 for some fish n fucking chips.
I know costs are up all over, but nearly £30 for something that was £16 when I started ordering it, it simply just taking the piss. So I dont order it anymore - No huge loss to me - But a regular order a couple of times a weeks loss to the guy who sells it...
I dont like feeling that I'm having my pants pulled down, that's all...
Plus the frozen microwave meals have gone up. The ones that were £1.50 each are now 2 for £5 = £2.50 each and stuff that cost a £1 before is now £1.69 and around 100g smaller too...
I dont mind paying the extra for that food though, cause its tasty, easy & quick to cook and delivered to my door in bulk for free... The problem is though that a lot of dishes have disappeared from the menu now, as they dont wanna put the prices up any more than they have already... So there's certain stuff I can no longer get...
On the flipside though, they have started paying interest on money in my bank account again - That stopped completely a few years ago, but even the ISA's (Tax Free Savings) have started paying interest again, so not all bad... That said though I moved the maximum allowance from my isas to the 'Premium Bonds' back when they stopped paying interest, but it would take me 3 years to move it back to the ISAS now interest has started again, cause theres a maximum allowance that you can put in an isa each year... So I can only move a bit at a time...Comment

This irresponsible government printing & spending will cause hyperinflation eventually. Some believe hyperinflation is coming within the next 3 months (I don't think it'll come that soon). If it does, expect prices to get MUCH higher.
Smart.

I go to Aldi, as I find not only is the cost lower but the quality seems better than most places.Stuff has really gone up - Especially Food (Something I buy a lot of)

In my local coop a box of cereal was £4.
I notice fuel a lot more when doing shoots. I used to put £10 in and it would give me about 100 miles. Now £10 seems to give me 60 to 70 miles.Comment

most products here in Spain haven´t changed much, maybe imports, baked beans have doubled in price, but all groceries are still quiet cheap, and all from Spain, so no importing. Wine & beer is still cheap, 1 ltr of vino for less than a quid and similar on beer, estrella, san miguel, about a dollar a litre. Diesel & petrol are still about 1.50 a litre, so not bad. Rent is good, our rent went up by 50€ last year, now 8 years after staying in the same apartment with sea views & our own private roof solarium. No up on car insurance, tax & vat, the same % as 2015.

Going to get way worse as the saudis are in talks with china and russia to leave the petro dollar.
This was so stupid and what’s happening is exactly what we said would happen—drive russia and all their abundance of natural resources into the arms of china.
At least we made the eu energy dependent on the usa. That’s why blowing up norstream wasn’t an act of war towards russia. It was an act of kindness and friendship towards the eu.Comment
