I reinstalled WINXP and my DVD Playing software is nowhere to be found.... where can I download some for free?

man, i'm pissed. i keep having to install codecs and shit, and now they don't work or can't find them. i can't use my ati dvd player because i can't get the right codecs installed. it pisses me off, and i have to use lame-ass powerdvd, when i have fucking hardware decompression!
