You get one person claiming $xxx amount of money and then that gets a warning flag - especially those who claim to have many homes - boats - travel etc. that webmaster/company may find themselves open to audit and can't figure out how it happened.

OK, first - Hypothetical Background info: So you have a basic membership site, couple of updates a week, 29.99 per month (well we shall say 30.00 for ease of maths)

Now you have a banner on a page that is visited by 3 and a half million people, over time period 'X'

Now, of those 3 and a half million people some HAVE to click your banner - Its the law of large numbers - Some will click it because they want to see your site - Some will click it because they just 'Liked the colour of the banner' - Some will click it by mistake - etc etc... Point being that a certain amount of people HAVE to click your banner - Again, law of large numbers...

So, lets say that less than 1% of the people who see your banner click on. Infact, lets half that - Half of One Percent of the people who see your banner are going to click it? How much is that?

3.5 million * 0.005 = 17,500 So, 17,500 people clicked on your banner...

Of that 17,500 how many people paid to join your site? Again, using the law of large numbers, lets say again that just half of 1 percent of those 17,500 people who clicked decide to go ahead and join up...

Of the 17,500 people who clicked the banner, 0.005 * 17,500 = 87.5 people actually paid you £30.00 each.

So, you earned 87.5 * £30.00 = £2,625.00

OK not bad... But what time period is period X? How long did it take for 3 and a half million people (already in the market for adult content) to be exposed to your banner?

6 Months? Congrats you've earned £5,250.00 a year! Whoop!

But what if I were to tell you that the time period of 'X' actually happened TWICE PER WEEK!

A guy I know has been running one site for over 20 years. toon niche
He didn't update the site tour since it was made in the late 90's. He told me he makes over 10k/month with it and showed me his daily joins. I was shocked because it looked so old and outdated.
