I would have thought having ChatGTP integrated directly into the browser, and 'Always On' would have generated an interest...

AI is going to change SEO a lot.
I mean if they're going to answer the question instead of sending you to a website I mean, what the fuck? |

I have already reduced google usage. Microsoft and bing could own google with this.

Agreed. This is already a much better search than Google in their heyday.

Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary told Insider he's now evenly dividing his queries between ChatGPT and Google. He said that, six months ago, he would use Google 100%, but now its only about 50% of the time.

it already feels like using a search engine is outdated.

It depend on what are you looking for - for example, chatgpt/ai is perfect for gathering info where normaly you need to open several websites and check content of each to find right info. But if you looking for something more then just short information then old search still doing it.

I'm starting to use it where I would have searched on Google before.
I just got it to write me a piece of code. Nothing special or complex, but whereas before I would have searched to see if someone else had a bit of code to do the same thing, and spent several minutes looking for something that did what I wanted, now it's just a case of log in to ChatGPT, tell it what you want, it does it. Job done. Google really should be worried. This puts Microsoft back in the game.

Currently I'm using Google for some searches, but I use GPT when I'm working. I just installed Edge on my Mac (!) and joined the wait list. If it works as well as some of the demos I have seen, it may become my default browser.

I've just switched back to Chrome from Firefox. It seems a bit faster. Edge appears to be quite good as well. Microsoft finally went multi-platform with their browser.
