    Pressure washers?

Whats the best pressure washer for around $400 ish, my dad has finally decided thats what he wants for Christmas this year and I know *nothing* about pressure washers

Preferably looking for something I can pick up from Lowes / Home Depot / Tractor Supply in person to guarantee I'll be able to get it before Christmas.

    TIA

My nurses use a pressure washer on me, when they take me outside and hose me down. Dont know the make though - Its a NHS one, so its unbranded

I read that your best to get one with a petrol engine.

The question is what does he want to use it for, as if it is to just wash the car, those battery ones seem a good idea as your not messing about.

The problem I found with the ones that you plug in the mains is first you have to mess about plugging the hosepipe in, then dragging everything outside. It it a right pain.

If your dad does not have an outdoor tap, I would suggest adding one for him, as it will save so much bother (In the UK the kits are only £10 and easy to install).

The advantage of the battery ones is you can fill a bucket with water rather than have to bother plugging them into the mains.

Yesterday I was looking at Rug Doctor's and noticed that they also have a pressure washer. I don't know if it's any good, but may be worth looking at as it would be in your price ballpark.

            I bought this one

            https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Worked like a charm. Cleaned by driveway, side of the house, sidewalks, etc.

What I would personally do, is to look around my neighbourhood to find people who already have pressure washers. Ask them for their personal thoughts, pros and cons etc on the model that they have, and while you are there, take a mental note of where they keep them overnight, and what security measures they have in place...

Then, work out the who has the best washer with the least security, pop over on Xmas eve (disguised as santa, so as you don't get noticed / recognised) in the night and steal it...

By the time suspicions are raised and police are called, you will have already given it to your Dad for Xmas, and as such, if the police search your property, it will be nowhere to be found...

              You're welcome

Spend a few extra bucks and get a Honda pressure washer.
