    Tech Nuclear Fusion Breakthrough - Real or BS

    Sounds like they used lasers to get more power out than what they put in.
    I don't believe it. Sounds like BS.
    I don't believe the experiments were done in complete isolation.
    I think maybe somebody farted while the experiment was happening, creating the
    additional energy.
    Plus, look at this panel. Nobody has a grey beard and there are no Chinese people. None of them are wearing lab coats. That could explain the escape fart in what should have been a controlled experiment.

                      They were very close in the late 80's with something very similar, then the project was ditched. I think it was 2 guys from Utah. Rumors was that the Saudi's bought them out.
                      I say give it a few months and we'll see if it cools down or this project/discovery advances.

                              True. Difficult to not be cynical. We have heard cheap, clean energy was on the horizon for years. Youtube always has new clickbait titles about new energy sources.

                              This could be legit. Or this could be a temporary strategy to drive traders away from oil and natural gas. Who is gonna want to buy call options of oil/gas/coal when a new cheap energy supply is around the corner? This may turn out to be a rough winter.

                                          As was mentioned - this was only a first step though a major one since they've been trying for years to accomplish that. It will take generations before it reaches us but the theory I heard was that a glass of water could power a home for over a year.

                                          They also have to battle those within the fossil community who don't want to see this getting stronger and take away profits.
