If "models" is part of what you're targeting, it will help a tiny bit since changing the slug will put that KW in the URL.

But.. A search results page and a model category page are a little different

Colmike9 is right when it comes to keywords. You need to think as a user in that they are more likely to type in "model" than "search". There are many other factors involved but it's a small step forward. Also images/(vids) are important as well since google can't really read 645616.pg but can model-lisa-ann.jpg

        There is no correct answer.

However, as others have pointed out, I too would opt for domain.com/model/lisa-ann/, but then again, if I was really trying to finely tune my SEO, the term "Lisa Ann model" is likely to be significantly more saturated results than alternatives.

The white hat way would be figure out which slug your feel best describes your sites structure and the content on that page, which once again is likely to point you in the direction of "model" slug.

Try both, plus alternatives, test and find the answer that best delivers relevant traffic and conversions to your site.

The URL slug (in this example) is largely irrelevant.

Google will rank the page that they view is the most relevant for the user. Some sites may not have ALL the Lisa Ann videos categorized under her model profile, but the search page does for example (or at least, Google thinks it does, which is all that matters for this discussion).

Some sites' "search" template is more well optimized than their "model" template. If you have a big site, it's more likely that a user will search for Lisa Ann content on your site, get site.com/search/lisa-ann/ in the URL box in their browser, then go link it on their Twitter or blog or forum or whatever - so now your well-optimized page is getting natural backlinks. This even happens when the site has auto-suggestions enabled that link directly to the model or channel from the search drop down - a lot of people just type and hit enter.

There's really no advantage to either. If you ever reach 1m+ per day, then you may want to pay attention to the user flow for things like this, especially if you work out deals directly with models for monetization or them sharing content, etc.

Until then, worry about the fundamentals. Good content + well structured site. A lot of people think they have this, almost none actually do.

although, if the images and clips were under the models directory, wouldn´t search still pick up that model name...

            domain.com/models/name/images/00.pg

and obvious as Colmike mentioned, to create the directory name similar to that of your product or site, so if an escort site

            domain.com/escorts/name

or if a porn site, maybe domain.com/pornstar/name would fit the description better than models...
