Sonali admits her dad didn't allow her to date while growing up in a strict Indian household -- which explains why she's made it to her mid-30s without going all the way.

Well 35 she's still fertile though not as much as 25 but a woman's chances are slim to non by 45 and over but it can happen. (learned by listening to fertility doctors) Now with fertility clinics around they can assist in increasing the odds.

That makes complete sense. For myself (you may or may not know) have 5 kids from 2 different wives. Both at the time were in the 20's and had fertility issues.

I'm 61 now and at times hard to keep up with them but even at the fertility clinic the issues wasn't with me but my partner. Living like a rock star doesn't necessarily mean fertility and offspring are affected - hell - just look at S tyler and his kids (Liv for one) all are good. Hell even Ozzy had a couple though may not be the best example LOL NOTE: my niece was born when her mom was in her 40's btw.

I only wish you the best and hope that as you enter the next stage in your life that each one of the children are healthy and will without a doubt know their dad (and mom) will love them no matter what. That's all a child can hope for these days. Money only goes so far - as does "things". A child's life can be altered simply by being told they are loved and that you are proud of them. I didn't realize you were 61, you look great. I've only felt the desire to become a father in the last 3 years. It took me quite a long time to "fix myself" after being raised by a single mother and having a deadbeat dad who gave neither his time nor financial help since I was 4 years old. Because of this, my biggest fear was being a bad father myself. You're one of the very few who mentions their children here. You always seemed like a thoughtful, kind, good man. I always enjoy your well thought out and articulated posts. You're one of the few last remaining saving graces here.

Wow, you are a worlds wonder for being able to have kids at that age. Not sure if you guys went for some medical help on the side, but even if you did that is totally fine and still crazy you've been able to succeed.

Btw, Im 37, had 2 kids in late 20s, tried for a 3rd one 5 years ago but didnt work.

Yeah, its crazy all those celebrities you mentioned, I always thought that those who got kids later in their lives actually did some kind of sperm freezing before becoming unfertile.

The feeling is definitely mutual.

As a dad there is only a small piece of advice - I tell my kids every day no matter what, "there is nothing you can do or say that will make me stop loving you". and each night - I sit - read or listen to them and always hug and say I love you. Never do they walk out the door or close their eyes without knowing I love them. We've all had tough upbringings and regrets - but I know that you (as I do) will take it seriously. Hopefully the child will grow up much smarter - wiser and capable than us so that we leave better people in the world than our parents did. When I'm gone - at least I believe all my kids will say - he made us laugh every day - we were loved everyday. For you and me - there is barely any reward more important than knowing that your kids know that. We screw up - for sure. Yet teaching the value of family and relationships - training them not as a friend but as a parent is so important. You want your daughter to marry a man that will continue that on - and your son's to have a wife as honorable and as much as a partner to you as your wife.

That is totally understandable... yet when I went into the clinic they did the test on both of us and found I had very healthy critters. NOTE: I need to point out that no where is there needed more a variety of porn than in a fertility clinic LOL. Not sure who did the purchasing there but it was basically 2 maybe 3 porn magazines that I never heard of that were mid aged women posing - nothing hardcore. Thankfully they had wifi but after being in the industry for so long it's difficult to find anyone that intrigues me because either I know them and consider them family or I've seen so much nothing catches my interest much anyone. I mean when you open it up an see a pornstar and realize - "hey I had drinks, smoke and some great conversation with that person and may even know their family" now you have to suddenly change your mindset LOL. They need VR headsets at least to help anyone.

Funny story - the last kid I had was when I was 55 - before the nurse put the filtered semen in I took the test tube and to everyone's surprise said, "ok - now listen - sorry girls but I want a boy so all the girls in the back and boy's up front"... then handed it to the nurse.
