    airport and travelling...

Is it still a nightmare ?

Everyone I heard in the past 6-10 months, in pretty much every airport, telling me about terrible lines of 4 hours for security, PCR tests, etc

Is it still the same now ?

Transited via Amsterdam, Sao Paulo and Paris this summer July and August, no problems at all. Even in and out of Schengen area. Depends on security and checkin on the airport you start I suppose.

Could walk straight through security on Schiphol, seemed only one departure hall had a waiting time of 4 hours when we arrived at the airport. So we where 4 hours too early. But our bags stayed on Schiphol and arrived 2 weeks later. No PCR test/ masks/ vaccine flying to Mexico.

Canada, US, Brazil, Colombia are still vaccinazi.

        everything is fake

my mom visited me a few months back, had to do a PCR test within 24 hours of travel back to Canada

aside from that, smooth sailing. she is fully vaxxed though, a 76 year old with asthma so she'd be an in idiot not to be

luckily the clinic was 10 mins away from my home once we hit the street so no big thing. by the time we bought our groceries down the block the test was completed with her card stating so

all she needed to do was show that and her vaxx card

they did give her a bit of a hassle over why she was carrying an empty suitcase but once she told the dude "I brought my daughter some books" they laid off. that maybe took 5 mins according to her

ask immigration to the country where you want to be, even just for a visit. most have websites

I guess it depends on the nations involved. no harm in asking them

Have been travelling pretty regularly the last year, everything has been pretty smooth and easy. You should be researching the entry requirements of the countries you are travelling to, and the countries you are transiting through, and be very thorough with your paperwork and documentation.

went to Colombia, I had to show my vaccine to the airline, and had to fill out a health declaration, no problem at all, I had a pic of it on my phone. I'm going to Vidcon MX next. When you travel and get your itinerary they will inform you if there are any requirements for YOUR trip. You can call ahead and ask them directly, you'll get a official answer there..

I had a connecting flight but decided to stay a night at the airport hotel in London and take flight next day. Cause first time we lost connecting flights and that costed a lot more money and stress. I was expecting that my bags could take 3 hours to get of the plane, and than you must go through customs. But they where not even on the plane, 11.000 bags got lost on Schiphol that day.

Holidays are almost over now, should be more quiet. But ticket prices are doubling for some destinations..
