One way or other porn will be banned on the internet.
banning porn directly has been close to impossible, but doing it via a back door is the easy option.
By a back door, I mean by putting in place laws that are not possible to implement, and so force sites to close.
An example being age verification. This option could not work, simply because 99.9999% of people would never want to upload credit card or other data to sites they do not know.
The other option is to put pressure on banks/credit card firms not to provide payment to porn sites.
Red tape too is a way to stuff most sites, by insisting that everyone involved with a site (including hosting, payment firms, domain firms and so on) all have id and model release from models.
You can also bring in laws to allow models to remove themselves at any point from a site, and sur=e if any pics or vids are on any site/blog.
These are just some techniques that can be used.
Of course some sites will bend over and say how wonderful this is and great opportunities to be had.
I remember when ATVOD started in the UK. A few firms said this was great, and had meetings. They told us we should welcome ATVOD. At least one of those firms ended up with a huge fine from ATVOD.
One thing ATVOD did was as soon as they started, they changed the rules, making things harder for sites, such as insisting no nudity on the site tour.
The same happened with age verification. Some firms bent over (after not learning from ATVOD) and told us how great it was. One noticed at least one firm seemed to have sponsored by some age verification firms as they had the names of these firms on there cycling outfits.
But banning porn, has nothing to do with porn. It is so governments can get back control over the internet.
First it will be porn, claiming it is for our good, and how its to protect children.
Then it will be blogs/social media, or any site where people have a voice. They will slowly ban what you can say.
Don't worry, they will say. Don't worry, it will only be this and that we ban, nothing more. But it will be a bit at a time so you never notice.
But porn has to be the first to be banned as its the easiest, and few will complain.
At first it may be BDSM porn or such like. And the thing is, most of you will accept that. You will say, well that is fine, it is extreme, and we can live with that, as they wont come after my nude pics.
Then it will be the full sex stuff, but most of you will say, well my stuff is solo, so I can live with that.
Then it will be the nude stuff, and by then, no one will complain.
