    Borrowed my dad's telescope

    Astromaster 90
    He lost the eyepiece - I ordered a Zoom Eyepiece 8mm-24mm Zoom

    This was set at 24mm. I need better practice to zoom in.
    Jupiter.


    I gotta be careful and not start spending money. I see people spend tens of thousands on cameras and mounts.

                                  I don't know enough about the subject to answer that yet. I am using my dad's Celestron Astromaster 90, it costs about $280. I bought a new eyepiece and a Telrad star finder about $140.

                                  If I had the cash I would probably get an 8" Dobsonian by Orion. That is about $850. And see if I can find a equatorial tracking mount for it. Or a Celestron - NexStar 8SE Telescope. That is about $1600.

                                  Or get into astrophotography, and get a DSLR camera.


                                  But for me. I am spending too much on drone toys now. So, I just watch what other people do on youtube.

                                          seems you´re definitely out of focus a little, I have the same AstroMaster 90, it come with 2 eye pieces, bought for my birthday...

                                          when we look at Saturn, the rings are much clearer, you can see the definite rings with no blur. Take your time to manually focus and get a nice clear deep image
