This seems like something that will get very quickly to be honest. There are leaked versions of ISTA-D and ISTA-P as well as other coding tools used for BMWs easily available online...

Nope. I've managed to live fifty-three years without heated seats and a back up camera.... They would be nice to have but I am surely not paying a monthly fee for anything.

Wrong, you do not need to pay a subscription for heated seats if you paid for it.

You never drive anywhere, you have no need for heated seats.

Luckily I don't have to pay a subscription for mine.

Heated handle grips on my bike are amazing.

BMW is setting up a subscription on their newer cars. It was on national news here.

I know, but it's not for people who paid for it like the title of this thread says.It's for people who did not pay for it when they bought the car.

Just like has been the case for years you buy a car and you choose the options you want.

Difference now is that the tech is installed also on base models, and even people who didn't choose and didnt pay for the heated option when they bought the car can still activate it later. They can try it out through a subscription or just pay the option price in a single fee.

Getting a BMW has been one of the worst mistakes I've made lol... everything cost 3x more then average vehicles to fix. For example the turn signals stopped working and I had to pay $2000 to get those fixed.... so ridiculous.
