Using VR as an alternative to Webcam sites like Chaturbate

I'm developing a live VR app where you can go into private rooms and mingle with one or more women to talk with, using headset and mic.

The women use full body Avatars and are connected with mics.
Users buy tokens to talk; either one on one, or, to enter their rooms where they fully interact with them.

This will be like Chaturbate but in full virtual 3D using a headset and will be more personal and immersive than ever before.

Facial tracking is also supported along with haptic feedback if the user is wearing a haptic suit.

Initial tests were conducted in Budapest and look VERY promising.

Sounds like a bunch of hardware to get started too. Have you considered how to scale? What are the costs to set up 10 models and 10 users? can the feed be protected or did you mean like walking around in AltspaceVR?

you gotta image the models/avatars and then you still have to hire the models to chat live. real live cam models are a lot cheaper to set up and hire - and they are real.

i think VR porn is at the extent of what its going to be: a fun POV video experience.

Yep. For at least the next 10 years or so. Its too restrictive at the moment. I think when AR is a thing, and you can get a girl to appear in your room, and still be aware of yourself and your real surroundings, that's when it will take off.

I find VR makes me feel too 'Cut Off' from myself, and lets be honest. Its VERY messy when wanking...

VR porn isn't even that fun to watch... They still need to figure out how to get the camera further back so you don't have to crane your neck so hard to even see what's happening. I suppose this is where 3D rendered video has an advantage, but you are trading realism.

vrbangers has good software (the Play'a app) that lets you adjust your point of view and angles. most other sites aren't any better than youtube vr or cinema. a lot of producers think VR is just a fisheye lens lol

Not sure if you are aware that VR web cam sites already exist for years now? Feel free to DM if you need any input.

You don't need much harware really. Been working as a business developer in the VR industry for years and all I can say is that you only need a stereoscopic webcam for the model, and a VR headset for the user. That's not more than a few hundred bucks x2. Of course you can go much higher with a pro equipment. There's also a variety of interactive toys that are not hard to implement and they are not really that expensive. The streaming software (both server and client side) is the most complex and expensive thing here.

With the development of AR and really complex AI systems on a chip (mobile), I'm curious to see what would the future of the VR entertainment industry look like...

Good luck, but Meta are literally spending billions on trying to create avatars that aren't legless cartoons and haven't succeeded yet...
