A rare underground band that, on a fluke, acheived pop status, and still refuses to become a pop band. In fact, their next album is on Ipecac records - an indie label.

one of the few bands still worth something, they're fucking great. "Rated R" is better, though

This is a band of very talented guys...Dave Grohl...Nirvana, Foo Fighters on Drums.....The lead singer was the former front man of screaming trees.

I hear this and think of STP.

IF STP had not had all of the drama and was able to continue to progress as a band. i think this wouldd be something very similar to what they could have put out. Same kind of hipnotic drive as you get from Plush or Vasoline or go off of No. 4

What Imean is great tune...great band....a nice compliment to my CD player Audioslave is also another I have been hitting hard

They're really just another incarnation of Kyuss... but with the usual revolving lineup changes.

I liked some Screaming Trees
saw "I Nearly Lost You There" (or something like that) on MTV and checked them out

I didn't even know Grohl was on drums with these guys - just opened up the folded CD pamphlet thingie and saw his mug on it - does this mean the Foo Fighters are an ex rock band?

By the way, for those talking about Grohl, this isn't his band... he just did some guest drum work for them. As I said in a past post, they've always had a bit of a rotating lineup.

kids... they think music was invented by Linkin Park and before that it was all monkeys making noises and bangin' logs
