Texas Governor Greg Abbott confirmed during a press conference that the shooting suspect, 18-year-old Salvador Romas, is dead. Romas shot and killed 14 students and a teacher, according to Abbott.

Abbott also said that two police officers were shot, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

A motive for the shooting is not known at this time.

Ummm.. yes? In the little coverage I watched last night, the guy was reportedly pissed off about not graduating high school. It's unfortunate he took the lives of innocent young children out his anger, but clearly, he felt wronged by his school. He must have felt nobody was listening to him, so he wanted to be heard by any means necessary.
