    Why didn't you send a counter-DMCA?

I doubt the OF model had an objection if her TikTok permissions were set to allow sharing, but she probably used one of those terrible DMCA services that just spray inaccurate bot notices everywhere.

If her settings disallowed sharing, then, ya know, don't take stuff without permission.

The host has to follow the law or at least I don't think it is a great idea to host with someone who doesn't follow the law on copyright.

But, if you didn't violate copyright law and it sounds like you did not, why don't you just send a counter-DMCA notice?

Your whole site was taken down, not just whatever page had the one TikTok?

If your host took down your site over a single DMCA complaint:

                      a) Counter DMCA immediately
                      b) Move hosts. That is a rookie league move on their part.

Hosts generally don't get involved when serving DMCAs. AFAIK the provisions in the act themselves don't actually really allow them to. Their job is very specific: serve the notice, serve any counter notice. It then goes to court if there's any more drama.
