    So cute, so sad

    The sad thing is that he was out during the day. When that kind of animal is out during the day, it usually means that it is sick, dying, or has rabies. It was walking funny and really scavenging for something to eat. I was watching over it so that it didn't get hit by cars. It was after 5pm, so animal control wasn't working & the police are busy during rush hour. It walked off into someone's backyard and I'm not sure where it is right now. =(

      It is scary to see a wild animal during the day around town. What's really scary is walking home from a friend's house after midnight & meeting a possom. We both jumped six feet & took off in opposite directions.

          you be careful corpsie. he may appear cute, but racoons are fierce, little bastards. if he's walking funny, he might be in the first stages of hydrophobia. if you have pets, keep them inside and definitely call animal control.

              In Louisiana we've got big ass snakes, panthers, bob cats, wolves, coyotes, and a year ago, My Uncle's dog was killed by an alligator as the were swimming in a local lake. That was scary cuz his two young daughters just got out of the water where the gator came out after the dog.

                  I feel bad for that racoon, its so cute!

                  There are lots of racoons where I live,and they always come to my house to eat my cat's food. That racoon is probably sick, so don't let your pets outside if you have any! My neighbour's cat just recently got killed by a racoon that was out during the day. It was really sad.
