Sorry but you get what you pay for. Too many out there who have a copy of SEMRush think suddenly they are SEO experts. Not to mention all the other services??? I would seriously look past the price and ask yourself - why isn't anyone else offering services this cheap? Better yet - try to find satisfied customers. The majority of the stuff is free or cheap programs that simply aren't worth their claims.

Guys I got scammed by a SEO company who looked just like theirs (found it on pornwebmasters best seo companies list) Don't know if I can post the name here. But the site looked exactly the same, with a US address and phone number. Went horribly wrong and lucky for me I won the paypal case after two month. The guy seemed to employ people in India and the price was 150$ a month Their work was real shit and when I asked for a refund etc... the guy said to have covid and I waited and waited till I could reach someone from the team...which never happened. Just to warn you that even though it seems they are US companies etc.... you can see there's no information on the net, no real "address" of their office and they are really pushy about payment.
Not saying Maven is a bad company though, I never worked with them but I am now really careful about the SEO companies online

Cheap SEO services are all BS/scam. Real SEO experts that know how to rank sites don't need to work for others and if they do their time will be pretty expensive.

This is entirely not true. You could use this same thinking on tons of different skills. If you know marketing, you don't need to work for others. If you know how to code, you don't need to work for others. If you know how to fuck, you don't need to work for others.
And yet, lots of places are employing for marketing positions. Lots of people employing SEOs.
