    SCAM ALERT - toppornsites.com | [email protected]

    I'm still hoping that it's just a misunderstanding, but after 3 weeks I have no choice but to warn everyone before dealing with this person.

    I have paid $750 to [email protected] (Paxum) for a listing on the following directories:
    toppornsites.com
    freesafeporn.com
    bestxxxsites.com
    mypornbible.com
    pornbyusers.com
    (by the far the most expensive links I bought)

    Unfortunately all I got in return is polite explanations on how the developer is busy or sick.
    In the last few days I don't even get the excuses, so I can only assume I got scammed.

    I've emailed Paxum but I guess they don't deal with such disputes?


    If anyone have any suggestions how to get my money back, please help.

                                  These porn lists get decent Google traffic, I don't think you would be able to get a link on all of them for just $750 (for a year). IMO, someone prefended to be the owner and scammed you.

                                  BTW, when buying links, better pay after your links are placed.

                                      Truly sorry to hear that.. Hit up Paxum support, if it's still on his account, they could get you back that money. To speed up things, try Chris or Ruth (@paxum.com).

                                                          I actually only wanted toppornsites.com but they only sell a package of minimum 5 sites.

                                                          I'm certain that he is the owner of these sites because for a day or two my links were placed on some of the smaller sites (but never on toppornsites.com)

                                                                              Similar experience here. I made a link deal for $x,xxx for him to list one of my sites. I send him the money.

                                                                              AFTER receiving the money, he starts telling me I can't have links to X-Y-Z sites. These are links to my own sites.

                                                                              I tell him that it's a deal breaker. So for the next 3 months, I get the run-around from him and his employees about getting refunded. After months of chasing him down, he sent my money back, but kept $300 as a "fee" for his time.

                                                                              Fuck that guy. He's a dick and a complete waste of time.

                                                                                  He finally reached out to me (probably after receiving an email from Paxum) saying that I can only get my money back after deleting this thread.

                                                                                                                      we had a dedicated server cost 200 a month for 10 years, until 6 years ago, our addy was [email protected], after moving abroad, the .co.uk seemed pointless as now living in Spain and dropping the dedicated server and now just having a small server with NatalieKash.com and our 2 pay sites with centroprofits, a gmail account seems most reliable.

                                                                                                                                  I totally agree that using gmail is not shady but I still will never do it and this is why: I've had dozens of problems over the years trying to send business email to adult biz people on Gmail who lost my mails due to Google porn keyword filtering. I was never clear if the mails got completely dropped or just sent into some spam folder these people didn't check, but it's something that never happens when I'm dealing with folks whose emails are on their porn domains.

                                                                                                                                  Back on topic, when I sell links I do ask for payment in advance, because too many people will say "we'll buy" and then either not pay hoping I'll forget to take the link back down, or tell me how many weeks it will take their accounting department to pay (meaning never unless I chase the money). Trouble is I don't build enough money into my prices to pay for any admin time chasing late/shady/hard-to-get money. So I collect the money up front. I'm always happy to verify site ownership for free though. At least once I've been contacted with "Where's my link" and all I could do is say "Who dafuq are you?" because I never made a link sale. Scammers are real.

                                                                                                                                                                              I've been waiting patiently for Paxum's final reply, unfortunately they couldn't do anything to help me get my money back.
                                                                                                                                                                              They also didn't say if they're doing anything to prevent future victims from transferring money to the scammer's Paxum account, which is quite alarming.
