Hey,

Thanks for letting me join your community!

I am thinking of creating app/website. Basically exactly the same as whatsapp or messenger but you can charge people to video or normal call you.

Initially it was for doctors, lawyers ect but after the feedback I got it seemed like a lot of people would use it for private cams.

The idea would be that there is no public profile in the app and links can be public or single use so it could be shared with someone you know in real life and keep it private between those people or shared to a large audience.

Feel free to roast it, or tell me it already exists

What would be the advantage over just handing out a Skype address and asking for payment?

It is definitely the same but its just all in the one system and most people are lazy. Also wouldn't be handing out your microsoft account details. You have a good point though maybe this will stop people.

well, models in the adult business already have skyprivate, and telegram with fancentro, many other payment pages for whatsapp and telegram too, so personally, not sure how this is going to work in the adult business. No problem anyone coming through, without payment, you can just mute or block them if they´re idiots

OP, Nat named two but there are already myriad platforms/sites that offer exactly what you propose

unless you understand the market enough to offer something really unique (and your own traffic so you don't rely on performers bringing their regs to a brand new site owned by someone new to the niche-that's not gonna happen) you're gonna be competing against established sites with track records. sites that offer what you propose as well as additional services for added value

my advice would be to learn the biz and the needs of performers before developing a product

anyway, if you go through with this wish ya good luck
