Hi all,

Does anybody out there use Tomcat as their application server? If so, do you like it?

I've been using it for a couple of years and got used to a few annoying bugs but I've finally had enough and I've decided that Tomcat is a piece of shit. Do you agree?

Finally, can somebody recommend a good, STABLE application server to run my servlets?

I use HTML::Mason. It's perl based, accelerated with mod_perl. Simple, stable, easy to modify.

tomcat is great. a bitch to configure. but extremely powerful.

I used tomcat for a while, then switched to Resin, from Caucho. That worked well.
