    Any experiences with Globill Systems?

I'm thinking of using GloBill systems for a new project of mine this summer. Has anyone got any stories to tell about them, or just experiences to share?

    Thanks

I LOVE GloBill systems. I've used them for two years and they have been doing a great job for me. Not only that, they're very helpful. If there's something you don't know how to do about getting set up, they'll pretty much do it for you. Their payments come like clockwork. Their customer service is great: send [email protected] a problem report or a question, and you are pretty much guaranteed a response in 15 minutes, or at most a half hour. That has been my experience with them. I think others may point out that GloBill takes a somewhat higher percentage than some other services, and this may be true, but it may also be true that you get what you pay for.

I believe they still aren't taking charge-to-phonebill payment forms, but on the other hand, their anti-cheating measures are so effective that they are the only one who still can accept AmEx cards. Additionally, they accept EuroCard and JCB credit card brands which are used outside the U.S.

I have used Globill for a year now and I highly recomend it. They have excellent customer service, respond to email within the hour. It is easy to install, the stats are clear, it is up all the time.
Just one of those services you feel lucky and priviledged to use because they are trouble free A true pleasure.
        my two cents

Let me say that from an affiliate's point of view (that's me) I am very please with Globill-systems. There's just a decent sized list of countries that they wont accept webmasters from.

I used to use GloBill until...
I figured out that they send an email to your surfers every time they are rebilled!

You'll get one rebill but in most cases that is it.

Yes... Tim and the rest of the support guys kick ass. If your selling a product or one time service then GloBill completely rocks but, if you're revenue model is based on recurring porn memberships forget about GloBill. I swithced to iBill and recurs went throught he roof!

Thanks guys, comments appreciated. I've heard nothing but good about them.

SixNine... iBill looks a little complicated for me. This is will be my FIRST webmaster program remember. Would you recommend starting with GloBill, and moving to a different processor later... or is iBill really as complex as it looks? (and it DOES look difficult to me)

Also, what is this I hear about Globill asking for webmasters' and customers' bank telephone numbers? Any truth to that?

If you use iBills Subscription login it's pretty simple.

It's actually easier than iBill... Globill makes you fill out all the contracts and the reviews your sites and member areas.
iBill just checks the join page to make sure you aren't in any way bull shitting the surfer.

If this is your first paysite I'd suggest going with whoever you fee comfortable with (to start).
Once you have some success (people signing up ) then you can worry about all the CC processor stuff.

One thing to consider is that it takes 6 months to get your hold backs from any CC processor.

You could also try CC-Bill... they'll set all the back end up for you.

                Really...
Give them all a call and check out their responsiveness and ask sales questions, I'm sure they'd be glad to help you.

Oh yea... don't even bother starting an affiliate program with GloBill as your CC processor. At 50/50 with them emailing your members on every recur you're affiliates won't make any money... and won't push your program. I know they offer per signup options in their affiliate program but if you do that you'll go broke paying webmasters.

Like my ace in the hole D-Money told me... "you've got to be your own top referrer". YOu might want to peep his marketing site:
                  The Marketing Firm

Oh yea... give CCBill a call and talk to Patrick Curran at 480.449.7755. He can answer all your questions.

So, what you're saying (against Globill's practice of e-mailing on recurs, which I'm sure reduces chargebacks, allowing them to still accept AmEx) is that CCBill kind of colludes with the webmaster in falsely inflating profits from people who might not intend to stay on. Now, on an honesty and integrity scale of 1-10, with Globill at 10, where does CCBill fit in, then?

I figure, I'll take the honest bucks, even if they're a few less than the other guy.

                      Fucking unbeleivable!
                      Someone FINALLY got the point..

People You go around posting numerous threads on cheaters/TGPs and other stuff which You say is killing You biz.

And on the same minute You all come back to say that a card processor is actually BAD cause it doesnt bullshit and fuck surfers.

                      Ok, that were feelings.

I got a question too, please reply anyone if You know the answer -

Anyone got an idea what's the best option for SECOND card processor?

Cause Ibill is good enough as the first processor, but is rumoured not to take most of european cards and honestly I am sick too of emails like: "Hello, I got Gold Swiss Visa card with 25 grand limit, whould You mind telling me why am I declined on Your 29,95$ subscription?"

Obviously , although I did not think about Globill yet, the situation will be almost same on any american processing. Anyone tried any european processings?

And BTW I dont think scrubbing as You call it has anything to do with decline of european cards. It's just huge time difference between USA and Europe makes this all mess.

Isn't there a Euro cc proccssor..

wasn't ce using them or something?

                        sigh..

too much thinking, make badgurl have a dull day

Really...we shouldn't have to sweat about this..

                        Hypocrisy aside..who's fucking the member?

We offer a great product at a terrific price...and make it easy for them to pay up like at&t , the cable bill, the freaking tax man.. auto payments...

Everyone uses it!!! what is the big deal..

So, my cell phone company has auto debit or whatever on my credit card...and they decide to charge me an extra hundred...and I try to fight it, and it takes months, and months to get it straightened out...Have you ever tried to get them to admit they're wrong?

do I phone my bank and say, "fuck them, I want to charge it back"

                        Not usually...

I think someone sending a polite email AFTER the money is in the bank..saying, thanks for your continued patronage blah blah blah is about as far as it should go...and harvard business school would agree with me.

                          Hm.

                          Ahem...

                          Ahem-ahem...

Exactly what are You calling "great product for great price"?

Before TGPs were here - yes, may be I'd agree.
Cause pics are the only stuff around which can be better and is actually better than in offline porn.
Other stuff is so much worse in the internet that there's simply no comparison.

And what exactly do You call "great price" ?

30 bucks for what? For thousands of pics? But they get them for free. Then what is it we charge that money for?

Videos? Well... I doubt the quality of online videos or the time it takes to download them when they are at least COMPARABLE to anything can justify 30 dollars.

The only thing You can justify these 30 bucks is the time You save a customer to find what he needs.

In such light I would not call it really "great price for great product".

Megasites do qualify for "great price for great product" but we are not speaking about megasites right? And Idinternet with all my respect to him probably was not going to compete with Cybererotica.
