After 1 year and 2 weeks, I finally made my first dollar as an affiliate. Unfortunately it was only $1, but I think I needed that confirmation that it was possible (and that I hadn't screwed up the referral code).

I'm running a few sites, some tube, some cam, some user-generated. All experimental, just seeing what sticks, testing and tweaking.

Thanks to everyone in this forum for the motivation.

Here's to reaching $2...!

Congrats! I am in the same boat, but haven't made $1 yet with cams.

I made my first $35 as a PPS with Nasty Dollars. I didn't know it. They sent the check to my PO BOX and I never looked for it. Time went by. I finally saw it. I went to cash it. My bank said, it's expired. If you deposit this, their bank will deny it and you will owe $25.

So I hit them up, I apologized. They said no problem.

One day later a FedEx envelope arrived. It said on the outside that it cost $29 to send it. Inside was a new $35 check.

Since then I have done hundreds of thousands with them.

Over the years things happened. And I always stuck by them and they always stuck by me.

Now they are AF, but still, they respect our relationship.

Enjoy your dollar. Figure out how to make it x100. Then x1000

And so on. That is all I did. And if you put one foot in front of the other, you will create your own path. And that is what is most important.

I remember making my first dollar with adsense, then $2/day, then $3/day...eventually $300/day.

Seeing that first dollar makes a difference, and I knew when i started making $2/day I could scale it up.

I don't work with adsense anymore but congrats on your first dollar. It does encourage.

Nothing worse then investing time and nothing seeing results, even if it's only 1 dollar it can be extremely motivting

For me it started as a joke, saw an ad, have your own camsite. It was from a dutch program, cambonus. Paid a domain name.
When the site was live i put a free contact ad on a dutch classifieds site. And within 3 hours I made 12 euro's.

Told a buddy of mine, he started doing the same. Posting classified ads with direct link to livejasmin.
After only a few weeks we started doing it full time. Building blog/review network.
I think at the end of the year we made 60.000 USD and we left rainy holland with our laptops
This was about 11-12 years ago when people on GFY already were saying" there's no money left in adult"
