not sure where either platform is located but pretty sure sending funds to Russia while being established in a swift network nation would prob be considered a no no. as in at minimum huge legal headaches

yeah, I'm a bit confused about that myself. think I'm the only performer NOT on OF so haven't been reading that much about it. I just stick to skype and avoid social media like the plague. what you're saying makes more sense than the article. suspect OF can't accept payments from clients in Russia, but again, not sure what their official policy is. google 'OnlyFans Russia' and there is a dozen conflicting articles. nothing on the OF site when not logged in so who knows
I guess the point is, and this is bigger than just OF, that even if users (client or creator) aren't blocked, what's the point of working a site if you cannot get paid by them?

The Russian people? In 1996 they had a say and elected the Communist Party in the presidential election, which was then fixed for Yeltsin with the approval of the West, which then led to Putin, which ultimately led to today.
Millions of Russians do support Putin, vote for him, support this war and think Ukraine is Russia, some on this forum, and millions don't. It's unfair to blame people for 'voting' for something in a country where elections are simply fixed though, and if ordinary Russians should be punished over this, why weren't ordinary Americans and citizens of other countries punished over Iraq? Of course nobody was, not even the people who carried out the invasion.__________________Comment
