The world is going crazy.
Several months ago, my in-laws were here and we went to one of the bars on Bourbon St for dinner and drinks, we all had ID (including current covid test results on our phones) except my father-in-law, who is in his 70's and quite obviously 'of age', he didnt have a physical copy of his ID on him and they wouldnt accept his digital ID, even though they accepted his digital covid test results
Needless to say, all except him were able to drink, yes, he should have had his ID on him, but at the same time, people need to use some common sense in situations like this. -
By law, no matter your age, you have to have ID to purchase alcohol in most places I have visited. I have known that for over 50 years because my grandma got carded when I was with herComment

Yep this is a true story.
I went in B&M for some 'No Nails' it's just an adhesive and despite been over 30, I very much look my age quite possibly older due to stresses of being an adult affiliate, was refused sale as was not carrying my ID, I had to return with my passport.Comment
