Breaking into the industry in my 50's.

Firstly I'm realistic about things. Some of you may have read my recent post about my younger girl older male porn thoughts - this is something for certain I'd like to get off the ground one day, but in the meantime I feel I really need to be involved with a studio or individual in some way to hone my skills and ability, get a good view of things from the inside and make some realistic plans and goals.
I have experience with video editing, photo editing, websites etc, so I'm not completely green. I have a lot of photos and video I took in the past, mostly between 2006 and 2014 - but I've never been able to get a foot in the door of an esbtablished studio / adult production company. I did apply to a large adult business in Surry over 10 years ago, that was for such things like taking photos of the various models and a lot of photo editing plus making sure all the ID was up to date. Now I'd see myself more as a general dog's body although I'd like to do more video and photo editing, even writing (assuming there are scripts!) - directing to some extent appeals as well.
So here we are. I'm 56 and trying to be realistic. I can see that helping some get a business off the ground as a partner could be viable, and in the past some women were keen to explore that kind of relationship, but again, for whatever reason it never happened. So, I'm open to advice and happy to post some samples of my work for review here. I'm not getting any younger, but in this industry it seems to me that's not a problem. I've been on this site since 2005 so I've been trying this for some time. Lacking capital has been a problem, but at least I do have some skills in editing etc that could be valuable - so where should I go from here? Any advice is welcome. If you're in the UK , especially if you're near to the West Midlands and interested in working together I'd be happy to talk as well.
