I'm from Portugal but not Lisbon but able to help you.

For business office Lisbon, Porto or Algarve is fine. If your intention is production then I suggest Algarve , There are quite a few producers living there and actively making porn.

Several people from the industry are based in Portugal... I'm thinking about the teams of Mobidea and Mobipium, super nice people and most of them are based in Lisboa ;)

Not living in Portugal now but you probably know that they have a friendly tax regime: 10 years free of taxes. It's a beautiful country, safe, cheap and sunny. Not bad.

the algarve is beautiful, and in winter, further up the coast, Peniche, the best surfing with up to 100 foot waves!

not sure about vat and taxes in Portugal, we pay 21% tax and 21% vat here in Spain, it´s a killer! But life´s good and everything´s half the price of the UK, so all´s good

                    Maybe talk to Miguel?

Portugal is magnificent, I too have it in my "to live for a year or two" list, and the 10 year tax break looks super nice.

Miguel would definitely know! After going down a rabbit hole on Portugal, I may pack up my family and move!

I moved to Porto in 2014 and so far have been great. Safe, clean and friendly.

Everything is pretty cheap except for gas and cars.
A daily meal in a local "Prato do dia" Restaurant costs between 5 and 8 Euros and includes: Soup, main course, dessert and coffee ( expresso) and drinks.

Yes it looks good for bussiness but not sure can they compete with Spain in terms of entertainment. Plus, Spain is now making new law for digital nomads so Spain could be better for bussiness too, unless changes will be minimal.
