    Did Anyone Watch The "Hitler" Movie?

    Hey All!

    I took time out tonite to watch the CBS movie, "Hitler." It wasn't something I particularly wanted to watch, but felt I should.... Did anyone else watch it? Comments?....

      Isn't it curious that whenever it's time for Mid East peace talks or the like we get a Hitler movie or a special presentation of Schindler's List. Just something that makes you go hmmmm..

      The portrayal of Hitler as a wierd "I hear voices" sort of nut is a completely contemporary fabrication. Check out the recent documentary by Hitler's secretary for the real picture.

      I thought Carlyle was excellent, he certainly has a tremendous presence. They also talk a bit about Parsifal and the Grail myth, which influenced Hitler to some degree with his ideas about purity. All together worth watching.

              I will be very interested to see how they condense the rest of his life and the impact he had on the world in two hours.

              I agree the acting was excellent and compelling....
