Anyone like me really prefer to watch Trinity's fights? She's much more graceful and she isn't omnipotent, so there really is the element of risk in her fights. Her life is really at stake.

Also, one interesting thing I haven't noticed anyone commenting on is the rather obvious fact that the usual age difference between leading men and leading women are reversed in this movie. He is obviously in his 20's and she is obviously in the 30-35 age range. BUT, she is hot!

thats the only part of the movie that I hated, the stupid rave scene part.

It's hype is 100% justified. Best movie of the year by far.

I disagree! Sure, there were a hell of a lot more in terms of special effects, but there was still a very deep plot developing in this movie.

Ahh I understood it just fine but would only give it a 7.5 out of 10, the special effects were impressive don't get me wrong but lots of good special effects don't make a GREAT movie, for me it was a GOOD movie but not a GREAT one.

The Matrix was a good movie. However part 2 and 3 were utter crap.

I didn't really get into the whole Matrix thing, not sure why that is. I was bored throughout 1,2 and 3. perhaps it's because I normally prefer Horror.
