2021 Pornhub Year in Review

Has anyone read the Pornhub 2021 year in review?

The #1 search on pornhub is Hentai in every single country, anyone here on hentai niche?

Another interesting stats is this year, the Philippines tops the list of the longest lasting countries at 11 minutes 31 seconds. I guest the current lockdown situation has influenced this.

The "how to" are interesting also, they make a good topic for blog posts.

What do you think of their year in review?

Just because there is traffic for hentai doesn't mean it's most profitable or easiest though

This actually surprised me I mean no teen etc. and step-mom is near the top as well. I also wonder what people doing POV are thinking since it's not even on the list. Also the fact people know what pinay means is shocking

Well there are multiple reasons why it may not be profitable from poorly designed or hard to navigate websites or bad content - but if you're getting traffic they are looking for something - know your customers

...and monetize/convert your customers too! Thing is with hentai how do you get the rights to the content if you are not the animators/studio/creators? So I think the hentai thing is almost solely for Japanese, no?

Awesome list tho from Pornhub. Especially interesting since they had to take down so many videos in 2021.

This is true - I've talked to people who just pass PH on google and go to another tube site since it doesn't seem to either carry their favorites or is to vanilla for their tastes.

as far as the other issue - I tend to agree with you but I think you can agree with me that with all the talent there is in North America - surely someone can create something as good or better.. I have a hard time thinking the Japanese have an exclusivity on talent and imagination.

I'm not sure - another explanation is that PH had to dump thousands of content and likely a great deal was teen etc. those search just found out that it's all vanilla so what's the point. You look at the site now and it's so bland and uninteresting - devoid of content for the most part that would want you to return.

It's on their category list but now only 152k movies right under pornstar 162k and amateur 210k in the amount. So that's showing you they have a large amount - but no one is looking at it to even make it on the list above. Not to mention amateur that has the most is showing way down on the list shown here (not even pornstar is there).

So ya that leads me to believe that the content although has volume has no substance or quality worth watching

After all these years and meeting so many and eventually becoming friends it's hard to even watch some pornstars because they are like family to me. The new ones- I don't know how they measure it - but maybe it's my age - totally different era I suppose.

I'm aware, I'm also aware they removed most of their "teen" related tags/categories when you submit to their tube back in 2021 due to that MasterCard fiasco. So it's most likely related to that.

As you can see teen is in the top 10 every year:

And it looks like they skipped 2020 but I'm sure it was in the top 10 there too.

More than new exotic niches, the reason could be more Southern Asia countries has access to internet.

It would be great to see the ranking by country instead a global list. Also they may edited the list due the new policy.

Adult Source Media is the only legal distributor/licensor of uncensored Japanese hentai that I know of. Japan produces tons of hentai but it is all pixelated. Western fans don't like it all.
