I use this Plugin on two of my WordPress Sites and could increase my SpeedInsights-Score like with no other plugin.
I am not going to post any Screenshots, as they are as easy to fake... as my text is. Anyways, two of mine results:
Site A:
Before - After:
Mobile: 55 - 75
Desktop: 60 - 98
Site B:
Before - After:
Mobile: 21 - 71
Desktop: 45 - 91
I tried a lot of different plugins. All-in-One stuff, several plugins for each task... No one gave me decent results. I made the best improvement with WP Rocket.
It's not as simple as I thought, but with some trial and error I found the right settings for each site.
Works especially well on WordPress Themes with multiple layouts and image heavy sites.
Beside caching and stuff, it also adds missing layout/dimensions in the html code. I found out that plenty of themes are not codes that well. It are the little things, that have my ratings the best bump.
