    How YouTube was started (YouTube Video, duh)

    One of the better "history of YouTube" videos I've seen.

    I like the mention of hotornot.com and how YouTube's launch crossed timelines with Flash Video Player 8.

    I didn't know they such a hard time to get people to post in the early days.

                          I saved 29 minutes plus ads by reading a paragraph on Wikipedia:

                          1. Be very rich and connected due to being at the right place at the right time.
                          2. Get millions more from your Silicon Valley pals to start a content theft site.
                          3. Get Nike and 2005's Lionel Messi to raise the profile worldwide.
                          4. Sell to a company down the road a year later.

                          Not exactly a rags-to-riches tale of struggle against all odds.
