I've had 2 or 3 emails a day from Indians offering various virtual assistant tasks for years. I've always regarded them as spam and just deleted them without reading, but I'm wondering if anybody has actually ever replied and given them any work and had positive experiences?
Have any of you ever replied and given work to Indians contacting you for SEO/CopyWriting etc work

No, not by replying to automated spam. I have hired Indians on freelancer sites though. But mainly for programming/implementing custom features on websites, And they have always delivered good work for competitive pricing.

This.
It's not fair to compare spam "companies" from india with normal services by Indian people. My experience was always good and it's more like I feel bad to pay lower money for the same quality. There are a lot of very talented people in india (and other countries in this area). Very kind, very smart and thankfully for every job.Comment

I have used primeoutsourcing they are in Manila though. Manual link building on forums. I just use fiverr and seoclerks these days.I've had 2 or 3 emails a day from Indians offering various virtual assistant tasks for years. Well I did give an individual who contacted me about copy writing and virtual assistant work some tasks recently. I tried him with copy writing at first, but his efforts were pretty poor. However, I've since given him some regular stuff like video editing and retitling images and he does them fine.
I don't know how he would react if I stopped given him work. What you say about them trying to destroy reputations is a bit worrisome, as when he completes a task he always tells me to 'pay now' and never says please or thank you.Comment

I think your website reputation is too important to outsource to just anyone.
I never trust the emails.Comment

i get so many so figured I should probabvly reply to see what they offer -
if you like seo tactics that worked in the 90s with broken english copy writing services then they will offer that at somewhat competitive prices.
but in all honesty - these days 'seo packages' should already be a red flag in most cases - simply because what it takes to rank and how has changed so much, its really down to individual sites, the target keywords, and whos alreaddy ranking there -
a custom approach will yield the best results every time.Comment
