Again, I am not complaining..but as a fan..this playoff is spoiled by injuries.. Is not how I want to see a season summed up. I can remember no other series this messed up by injuries by top teams
That is..no other playoff season this spoiled by the best two teams being injured IN THE PLAYOFFS we all know..it was lakers, kings or spurs this year |
2 of the 3, suffered starter injuries DURING the playoffs

waa waa.. if if..
thats why they have playoffs.. thats why they play best of 7... lakers got beat.. Kings got beat... shit happens... players get injured... part of game.. you could argue all day.. IF IF IF.. but the facts are.. they are both out.... plain and simple... peace :thumbsup go MAVS |

Kings, less Webber, done deal. It was a playoff ender. |
there ya go.. you said it yourself.. both of those clubs were not complete teams...
Mavs 6th man from the bench .. came in and stepped up... what other excuses can ya cum up with???? :winkwink: |
50
It's fine..this year..who wins the title deserves it,they staryed injury free, but will mean nothing unless they can back it up, period. The best team, apple to apple, probally wont win.. |
your argument has no basis....
in your world we would not even have playoffs... ??? |
I'd like to see the Mavs do it so that I can be at the riots in Dallas and tear some shit up and set stuff on fire. Other than that I just would really hope the Spurs or Nets don't win because I can't stand either of those teams.
|
My argument is simply this.. 2 of the 3 best teams..suffered starter injures this playoffs

Kings/Mavs was an emotional roller coaster... and yes.. may have been different in Cwebb was there.... but unfortunatly again.. shit happened... ya can't ever prove shit would have happened.. b/c it didin't.. plain and simple:) |

The way I see it there are always "ifs" and there are millions of them out there when you start to say if this or if that then anyone else can say the same so ultimately it doesn't matter.
|
unles the mavs, can beat the spurs(which they wont) and take the title.. i will not feel the best team one.. I can accept the lakers loss
|
its all good Jake... its true... the sun only shines on a dogs ass every so often.. so when we get a big win... we have to try to enjoy it.. .and all the pussy ass talk about ... what if what if.. bullshit.. ya just don't wanna hear...
Hell we had to watch our Stars get pissed on by the DUcks.. and hey.. go Ducks... !!! i'm not going to whine about one of Dallas's top scores injured during that series.... cuz... shit happens peace |
I feel the same way about that.. and i am the Ducks fan.. If the Ducks win, they will have to back it up..
My point to all this is, injuries suck..i want to see the starters make it or break it |
the Spurs won't be the lakers...
the Mavs won't beat the Kings.. doh!!!! wtf... why don't ya go over to sportbook.com and place a $million wager... there Nostradamas.... anything can happen... again.. thats why they play 7 games :thumbsup |
plain fact of the matter is, there are bumps in the road. the team that avoids those bumps, wins games and in this case series. now, with c-webb out, you can say dallas had a huge advantage. but game 2, c-webb wasnt out and the kings got man-handled...
noone knows what would have happened if c-webb had not gotten hurt. chances are, the kings would have won the series. but, once again, shit happens, the mavs won 4 out of 7 and are off to the w.c.finals against a very good spurs team. a spurs team, that the mavs tied the season series against, 2 games a piece... regardless of who wins, the winner wont come from CALI so we should all be happy about that.:321GFY |
what do they have to back up???
if the Ducks win the Stanley Cup... they deserve it... b/c no other team could step up and beat them .. in a 7 game series.... why is that so hard.. its not like the NFL playoffs where its a one game shot??? |
Sorry, it spoiled the playoffs fr me personally.
You all are welcome to your opinion |
sure it did.. cuz your team is out...
hell the lakers have ruined my playoffs for the past... 3 years... but ya didn't see me posting "EXCUSES"!!! :winkwink: |
I have never been a lamer fan that likes to beat a injured team.. I felt as shitty when webber got injured as i did when fox was..
|
its all good Jake.. just having some fun.. celebratin' the MAVS big win...
no hatin' goin' on... peace :winkwink: |
uh... fox.. is not and should not be the excuse for the spurs win...
no one could contain Duncan... he was ON FIRE!!! |
I will tell ya, deep down..I maybe wasnt sure it was the Lakers year..But I still think the would have beat the Spurs with Fox..
Coulda shoulda would of.. I felt it might the Kings year, and wanted the best team to win |
Lakers just had a bad year.... look back at the beginning of the season.. then look at the Mavs season...
the Mavs were smokin.. until "Novitski" got injured... ??? I belive the Mavs were like 24-0... or some shit like that... vs the Lakers worst start in a looong time... also... the Lakers had a lot of emotional shit happening... Kobe's dad not invited to the wedding.. . Phil Jackson and his heart problems... etc.etc.etc... there were other things bringing them down.. they were just not "the best team" this year... sorry |
I do think Duncan is awesome, and a class act.. I saw a Laker Spurs series that was really deceided by two close games. I did not see Spurs Dominance. No need to to go over details, i can accept the Spurs win..
The Mavs win on the otherhand.. was a gift..sorry |
hmm... if C webber would have stepped up in Game TWO????
then we would not have had game 7???? so gift.. .UH NO... |
I do like the Mavs, really do..was really looking forward to this series
|
Webber would have made it a differnt outcome..just my two cents
|
I got your gift right here behind my zipper Jake. No one gets a gift to win 4 games out of the best of 7 series twice now and to win enough games to have home court advantage in the first two series. So I really doubt any of this was a gift.

now seriously, is Rick Fox that important? yeah sure Just go cry your sorrow and leave this basketball thing for those who knows :thumbsup |
another thing: if Lakers are so dependent of names, then they're not the best TEAM, but the franchise with more stars. Just that, it worked for 3 years, it won't work anymore. Poppovich and a few smart NBA coachs were following very close the FIBA championships and they realized that there's a different way to play, one most NBA players don't play. As long as the trick is new, they'll have an advantage over most teams, no surprise Spurs and Dallas are on conference finals. An example: Manu, 2 years in a row European MVP, an excelent offensive player plays defense with the Spurs. And therefore, on game 6, as Manu took Kobe, he made only 5 points out of his 20 total (when defended by any other player). He ranks #2 in steals and he is an offensive player! Just imagine if some defensive player took Kobe (or whoever). Until now, Bowen is considered one of NBA's best defensive players. Kobe made 13 with him on defense.
btw, Pop has put the eye in 2 guys from Argentina's team (Scola and Nocioni) to match up with Manu. They're inexpensive, they're good, eager for glory and with balls the size of a basket ball. If you have the luck to see them play, you'll understand what I mean when I say BALLS (USA team suffered them in Indianapolis), all with capital letters. If you really like basketball, do a search for these 2 players to find out what I'm talking about, specially Chapu Nocioni :thumbsup |
