Hot or Not AirBNB

I am getting ready to do another road trip; first time without Buddy or a travel partner in a VERY long time.

I have never used AirBNB before, but my first two nights are booked, so we shall see.

Have you experienced any weirdness in your experience with AirBNB?

I used it only twice, but it was fine. Tho i was a bit worried one first take as girl which were managing flat was also managing 8 flats overall so i wondered does she work for mafia lol. But mostly like she was doing rent for cheap/sell on airbnb thing. Second time i rented a whole house floor which was fucking huge, with two queen size bedrooms and i felt like president there.

It was also fairly hot girl, and she even had listed in her rule list how you should invite her to dinner. But i did not, and that might upset her lol , because close to end of time period she sent me message asking what is wrong.

I have used airbnb almost monthly since they launched, have never had a bad experience.

It sounds like you're doing shared space though? I only do private / whole house.

I am going to small towns with motels. And I have little use for a house for one or two nights.

I love AirBnB. I use it a lot and prefer it to hotels when traveling with a baby and two dogs. Much easier to travel. I am getting ready to head to Salt Lake City or Park City UT and will AirBnB there for a month. Ive also AirBnB'ed my house in Pacifica, CA. Always a positive experience.

Have you experienced the COVID cleaning fees? A month will probably cost double what you expected.

I love AirBnB's ... much nicer than staying at a hotel! You can usually get a full house for the same or less than a hotel.

Read the reviews. They are usually a good indicator of what to expect.

I usually use AirBNB for my bookings.
Done it several times and everything was great. Flat owners are usually super-friendly and helpful

I like Airbnbs. Have stayed at many over the years and never had a bad experience. They replaced hotels for me basically
