Social Media Share Buttons on Dynamic Websites?

    Social Media Share Buttons on Dynamic Websites?

    Now that I have my project site in a somewhat working condition (thanks again sarettah!) I was wondering what everyone uses for social media sharing on non-adult websites, especially ones that have dynamic pages?

    Right now the vast majority of methods that I am finding need specific URLs for the link to be shared on Facebook and Twitter but I was curious if anyone had found a simple text link share for social media that would work well on sites with dynamic pages?

    In an ideal world, I'd like to find one that pulled not only the URL, but also the meta tags (or at very least page title) when shared, does anyone have suggestions on how to accomplish this please?

      You can modify the looks a bit, choose which social share buttons to include, as well as the position (floating side), only desktop or mobile (or both), include it inside your content (wherever you copy and paste the code).

      Bare in mind that these kind of javascript includes will slow down your website. So, if you don't expect to get that many social shares, you should consider not adding them at all.

      Edit: Nevermind, I see you're looking for a share link only... by the way, doesn't FB and such pull the title automatically? For images you'll need to add some more to your header: https://css-tricks.com/essential-met...-social-media/

          Not certain if they pull the meta automatically, was more being as precise as possible in the thread for what I want.
