I've had it on a few cars and unless you get in an accident where you can't use your phone, everything OnStar can do...you can do with your phone and AAA.

we pay for it but dont use it. it works like a lojack for us. they monitor the car and they can find it quick. and of course if there's an emergency, like u crash and are unconscious, they call 911 for you. can't do that on a phone if you're bleeding out

oh they'll chit chat with you too if you're lonely haha

The only time I remember using OnStar I was with Niko Bimini and he was showing it off by just chatting with the girl at the other end.

We have onstar in our malibu. If you want to have the hotspot in the car then it requires that you have OnStar.

here's a cool feature they told us about at the dealer but i didn't really listen.

i wonder how easy it is to disable onstar. lojack is fairly easy.

Verizon, ATT and Sprint / Tmobile all offer the same for $3-4 a month. My buddy sold me on the Verizon version and it's basically the same thing as Onstar.

I just got it in my Denali 2500. Mostly for the hot spot, though.
