Pornhub and XHamster set to be banned as country brings in strict child protection laws
Germany is set to block Pornhub and xHamster after the site's failure to implement age verification checks that stop children from viewing porn.
The Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM) may issue a blocking order in the coming weeks that would result in the sites' inaccessibility to the German population. This move to limit this online access is part of a campaign set on making all pornographic websites in Germany implement age verification checks, though the initial phase targets four major pornography websites. yes but I wonder whether it's the beginning since there are many German webmasters who's main source of income is creating tubes. I know one in particular that has over 500 tubes (scraped and affiliate) from Germany. So although they may start there who's to say they won't go deeper

The law exists for like 20 years, there is no free porn on the .de TLD
I remember how people laughed when they got letters from Germany asking them to comply and they threw it in the trash. And here we are.
