Has anyone here ever seen "The Room"? - GoFuckYourself.com

So there's this movie called "The Room". I've never seen it, but I've seen clips. Apperently it is one of the worst movies ever made, and has hit cult status levels similar to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I want to see but but friends have told me for wait for it to appear in Theatres and to see it with a big group of fans to get the full experience.

There is another movie called The Disaster Artist, which is supposed to be the story of the actor / writer / director of The Room.

Should I just watch The Disaster Artist first, even though I've never seen The Room? Or should I wait and see The Room first?

You can indeed compare The Room and RHPS, I have been to a public screening of The Room and it was hilarious.

I don't know which one you should watch first - this or Disaster Artist - either way it's impressive how closely they recreated the scenes.

Probably best is to watch The Room first, then Disaster Artist, then The Room again.

And make sure to get the full version, some versions you find on Youtube or so have the nude scenes cut out and you definitely want to see those.

Both are... i don't want to say 'good' films but they are definitely funny and worth a watch. The Room fall into a category called 'trash films' and some people are really fond of them and find joy in just how bad these really are.
