Double opt in isn't a requirement for adult spam any more?

Would be cost prohibitive to do this with most adult products. I personally wouldn't send an unsolicitied adult email without the user opting in.

But you are right, the tools available to mainstream businesses are amazing

          Adult needs to do this.
We chatted about this a year ago, and you thought that was illegal, no? We already did this for adult - remember getadultemails.com?

Actually, the pricing for adult wasn't that bad. You could get down to the 8 cents/email range with volume buys.

But, agreed, it's spammy. "You enjoyed watching Kathi on cam - now sign up here to get a free 10 minutes with her...".

Apparently im not understanding this correctly..

You're visiting a random website you never registered with or have any type of account with... and they are somehow sifting out and spamming your email address? The email address you never gave them...?

I need this explaining to me like my forehead takes up an unusually large surface area of my face.

How could a website sift your email address from just hitting their page?

                    Me no likey..

They share data with a large network of sites that do have access to your email address. Using their javascript pixel they can identify you easily via cookie, no different than using facebook/google pixels to track sales.

                          Anonymous Website Visitor Identification

You put our pixel on your website, and we match anonymous digital identifiers to rich customer profiles.

Our DeliveryID™️ Email Graph has over 250 million US individuals and gets 100 million updates daily. Its linked-and-current database includes hashed emails, MAIDs, emails, names, and postal addresses, all of which we can tie to your CRM or CDP’s 1st party cookie, or attach to a session ID.

We can typically match over 70% of your US traffic to at least one addressable identifier."

This has been going on for quite some time in mainstream and I've seen it used in adult with great success. You just have to be very creative in your approach. I'm surprised that your job is email marketing and you're just now learning this.

                              It works in multiple ways.

                              1. You can access it through your wp-admin panel
                              2. You can download a desktop app for Windows
                              3. You can use a mobile app for Android and IOS
