I said the eventual winner will be Denmark or England not that the final is between England and Denmark. The scores were predictions for yesterday's games, which would have been spot on if England hadn't finally started making the most of being the best team in the competition (zero conceded and tons of scoring ability).

Personally I hope the final will be Italy vs Denmark with Denmark winning.

I've been saying Denmark for weeks, but if England can again remember how good they are there's no reason they can't deal with them.

The good news for England is Denmark's win last year at Wembley was a penalty, the bad news is according to Twitter England usually lose when broadcast by British channel ITV, which the Denmark game will be.

I think Denmark are a far bigger threat to England than Italy will be, but I'd say 2-0 too. If England score one they'll score two and Denmark scoring more than one would be beyond miraculous (their win last year was due to a disputed penalty against 10 men), and more likely they won't score any.

I think if England get through this they should (if they live up to what they can do) have no problem at all against Italy, in fact neither will Denmark.

Had been saying all day "yup this going all the way, ET, pens whatever....but England were 1/3. So not worth it at that price.

Just before kick off England went 4/5 so i put £100 at that. And sure as fuck, game goes to ET (which fucks that).....then England of course win.

Spain are out as we saw it was better team in the semi-final but they didnt have luck on the penalties.

On the other side it was not fair the penal given to England, Denmark was good team but at least they deserved penalties

As stated directly above your post, the Denmark goal was scored from an unfair free kick (diving Denmark player). So erase the two unfair goals and Denmark still lose 1-0. (Or more, if we also erase another diving Dane whose free kick denied the penalty for Kane.)

Denmark actually commited 21 fouls in the game, making them one of the dirtiest teams of the tournament, with a pathetic 6 goal attempts in 120 minutes, a mere three on target.

Penalty shootouts are not football, and with Superman in goal for Denmark, playing like his dad, we'd simply have the two worst semi-final teams in the final.

Think it's clear Italy would be favourites but home advantage for England comes into play so, as it stands England are priced 17/10 for 90mins, Italy are 19/10.
