Which script is the best for Porn Site (especially video streaming site like Xvideos and Pornhub) currently?
I know there are many scripts out there. However, I'm finding a solution that is SEO-friendly and sustainable. Sustainability is important. I can spend most of my firstly, but later I want the size is scaleable by user's contribution (User's upload)
I want the videos can be encoded and watermarked with the script. Users can register/upload their videos (in exchange get rewards by the number of views made from their videos).
Self-host excessive videos lead to bandwidth-burning fast. Therefore, I'm also considering alternatives like hosting services (Doodstream,Netu, etc) or CDN services to save the money at the beginning.

The real question here should not be about the script that can support the proposed business model, but whether the business model is sustainable. With big tube sites experiencing legal problems with their credit card companies because of the user uploaded content they get (thus shutting down their traffic buying programs), it is a question of time when those legal questions will actually turn into a law. So, if you plan to base your business model on user uploaded content (that is mostly always not backed up by an ID, nor photo release), it is better to save your money and look elsewhere.

But if you disregard the long term cost-effectiveness and speak strictly about the platform itself, building your own in-house solution is by far the best choice. It's never cheap, but definitely always the best way to go if you don't want to bother with MVP software usually offered by 3rd party companies.

yea i know i shouldnt be working on a friday night but i had to get the new WordPress Embed plugin launched.

its no big deal, just a way to embed cms videos in a WP post. some people want to use PornCMS as a central library and build feeder sites. the plug will need some iterations lol

test it yourself if you want. the plugin activates the cms site as an oembed provider/endpoint. very simple.

PornCMS is a pretty mediocre paysite "CMS" and "cloud hosting" is easily done by just spinning up a DO droplet. I'm sure the mostly unknown feet models you cater to fall for those buzzwords, though.

yea cms isn't a complicated business. i've never heard of most of this list and i've been in the adult cms business on a daily basis since 2007. i welcome competition. the clients all end up at PornCMS anyway because few adult vendors know anything about SERVICE.

no you can't "spin up" a reliable media cloud. streaming servers, conversion servers, download servers, monitoring servers, front-end servers, db servers, all talking to each other. spin it up! then try charging $95 a month all-in.

my target has never been models, although i do serve many. i think ModelCentro is serving models fine. i like their support services too. i serve business professionals, whether they like to be in front or behind the camera. anyone who can think thru an idea before they send it in an email is a good client partner to me.

the bottom line, like a few others such as k0nr4d from MechBunny, i am just out here trying to serve clients. i get up and check my emails, fix problems, find solutions, send a newsletter, hit social, and then i do some dev. i am not special. i just work hard every day to maintain what i've built over the years.

next time you "review" my business, please come with some bullet points. negativity is all about you, not me.

That's a "stack"; not "cloud". Cloud indicates virtualization. You must be full of shit then, because you don't even know what the words you're using mean. One entire machine can be a cloud setup for an organization, then you use virtualization to do all that shit you just said and for all intents and purposes. Probably a bad idea for redundancy, but can still be done and technically be called "cloud".

TIL my tubes that use the exact setup you described on bare metal servers is "cloud" and not just exactly what it is, bare metal servers.

Hosting videos on server require high server cost and lots of headache. Require 4 or 5 TB to back up them. A regular team require to monitor the server and script and spend lots of time on your site And income is zero from adult AdSense, then why should we make site to host videos.

I know the guy have 12000 big adult hosted videos and 12 TB data and spend lots of money and time on it. His server was on GoDaddy. It's really a pain to manage whole things. Server guy daily phone him to increase server configuration, so that server guy can earn money. Few months ago his server was crash, and he has an old backup and GoDaddy demand more money to restore it. He has not earned more money from that site and spend hundreds, thousands of dollars. Finally, everything is ZERO

If the same earning is being with less server requirement you can afford, then we must try that first.

If you are a multi milliner, then you can afford the expensive server and a team.

lots of site owners try to save a few bucks by getting all the services separate. that's why we include the cms, hosting, cdn, *and* service. $295 for a 2tb account, which includes free backups and distributed media servers. total disk space for a 2tb account is 8tb.

i was up at 3am because a client changed their dns and freaked out. there was no charge to fix it. that's called service. godaddy gets away with shit service and excessive fees because of their size. i've had at least a couple clients in the past few years that were suspended by godaddy over content. they're as risky as OF.

your reply is wise advice, but unrelated to my statement. my comment was simply about bundling your paysite related services. cms + hosting. not thousands for a cms and hundreds every month for hosting.

since 2007, we've closed ZERO sites over content. there's no risk on my service. key term being 'service'.

I have Mechbunny, KVS and Smart Tube Pro.

My personal favorite is still Smart Tube Pro all these years later.

KVS is great, and their support is excellent, but there are so many options in the admin area it can be overwhelming. Also, templating KVS can take a long time to do. If you want to try out a different design, you have to replace the current templates or get a test.domain.com setup by kvs for development.

With Smart Tube Pro, if you want to test out multiple site designs, to work out which runs best it is no problem. Simply send traffic to the new template design http://www . domain . com/?template=old or http://www . domain . com/?template=new. Also, it is much easier to template than KVS. I have custom STP templates using just 14 template files for tube site.
