Yahoo buying Overture?
I've heard some rumors that Yahoo may be buying Overture. Overture's stock is up today. I also found the following article...

To be honest, I can see it happening. If you look at Yahoo's quarterly statements, a big portion came from Overture. Second point is that Overture owns the patents (which I disagree with) behind PPC SE models and has a descent presence on other SE's. Next, Yahoo is looking away from Google in my opinion since they bought out Inktomi earlier this year. And the most interesting point is Yahoo is selling a lot of their liquidable assets to raise cash. They wouldn't really do that unless they're planning an acquisition and based on the above points, Overture is a pretty good candidate so I could see it happening.
