A treaty was signed by most countries several years ago that stated the Moon was public and couldn't be claimed.

Wait until the USA finds out that there's oil up there, that will change fast. Once and a while a moon needs to be liberated too.

Since oil come from decomposed organic matter, I think it's highly unluckily. Fossil fuels don't exist without fossils.
