    Red needs your support

    Simi better know as RED is in the Hospital as of late last night after having a heart attack. It looks like she will have to stay in the hospital for a few days.

    What really sucks is her medical insurance just ended a few months ago when her boyfriend switched Jobs and he hasnt been with the new company long enough yet for new coverage.

      I talked to her boyfriend very briefly this morning and he says that she doesn't want to skyrocket the hospital bill too much because of that Tanker.... so me thinks this is a time when we need to all pull together and help our Lady out.

      I have had a real bad time with this one as she is not only my partner, but she is also my best net friend.......

      If there was ever a time to stop all the bullshit going on and pull together, I think now would be the best time to do it.

      This has ht me very hard as I am sure it will most of the people here...... and I think that now we need to all pull together and let Red know just how very much she means to us as a friend, co-worker, and family.

      Sorry to go on..... I am outta here.. this has been a bit much for me this morning. I know she means alot to all of us, especially ME!!! So we really need to pull together and show her just how very much she does mean to us.

                                                                                                                              I had to read it twice just to make sure it was really her because she's just so young for a heart attack. She has been going through a lot of stress latly, and as I recall her parent had health problems causing her to fly out to visit three weeks ago.. Everything started to build up in her only to result in this sad news.

                                                                                                                              News like this kinda puts everything in perspective as to how delicate life and our body's really are.

                                                                                                                              Please keep us posted about her surgry and funding program, for this is something that im sure will happen today or tomorrow.

                                                                                                                                                                                          This is actually Defiant using Red's machine to give an update on her status. She seems to be in much better spirits, as well as health, today. She is going to have a cardiac catheter done at 10:30 monday morning and an angioplasty on tuesday if needed, so she SHOULD be home by wednesday. Tanker and I have been printing out all of your comments and notes and giving them to her in the hospital for her to read (since there is nothing on TV for her to watch, at least she has something to keep her occupied). Coumidin, or warfirin, or even Asprin, what do they reconmend she use when she is discharged to use as a prevenative measure.. These medications are not very expensive at all, and are really important for heart attack victums, but often when Doctors feel that the patient may not have necessary funds they tend to skip this reconmendation.. I know because I have a Masters in Health Care Administration and we tell and teach the Doctors to do this shit.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  This is one of the reasons I got out of that and into porn.. The people are much more moral and humane in porn than they are in health care administration as many of you know through your bouts with health insurance issues. Just tell em boneprone said so, and you want to know what preventaive meds she can take for a few months after this episode. It is pretty important that you do this.
