    I made the switch

I made the switch and now I'm an Apple bitch. I got a wild hair to upgrade my Samsung Android phone to an Apple 12 Pro Max.

Am I going to regret this?

You will only regret having to pay for a lot of apps that are free on Android. But only if you are a geek. Same goes for a lot of things in that regard. If you aren't using root to perform anything special, you won't regret much. Just the learning curve of how Apple put everything a bit differently.

Of COURSE a chick pipes in with her "I love Apple!" squeal. LOL

Apple has gone to shit ever since Jobs died. Now it's all glued plastics and adapters. But hey, the chix dig it so all good!

I just got the new Samsung Galaxy 21. Talk about a bitch - of a machine!!

If you put enough thought in to making the switch, I think you will be happy. You are a clever guy, so I'm sure you had good reasons.

I prefere my new sony xperia 5 ii because it's not build in China, and have the same software as my Sony Cam. Some of the parts are most likely made in china, but at least I am keeping some of the money out.

I own an Android. But I like and respect Apple. They respect their customer's privacy.

If you respect your own privacy online, you've already done yourself a HUGE service by making the swtich.

Aside from that, most of the apps seem to work better on the iOS platform, including many of the Google apps themselves.

They both look and operate fairly similarly, so making the switch won't be too difficult.

                Spend you some brain.

I enjoy apple computers, but have never had an iPhone. Infact, even with my android phones I recently went 'backwards' - I went from a high end Samsung flagship worth nearly a grand, to a pixel 4a that cost me £250 - I have never been happier...

I still have and use my iPhone 4S. It was state-of-the-art when I bought it almost 10 years ago, and it works perfectly well for what I need.

I resist anything "android/Google" for personal privacy and safety reasons.

I like that Apple Apps are not just waved into the store and onto shelves without some level of vetting.

Besides driving me crazy trying to figure out all of the settings, this phone has a hell of a battery in it. I've literally been screwing with it all day and I still have half of a full charge. That's impressive.

i don't understand this fear of paying for apps. for someone who buys a 1000$ + phone, paying 10$ for an app should not be an issue.
but then again, i never pay for anything..i never use any apps :D just have a phone for the sake of having one
