In my cosmetology days, the blanket statment about hair length was "short" hair is always in style. Of course, that's because short hair requires more maintenance and equals more money.
My personal belief is there is a short, medium and long cut for everyone. As long as it's healthy, the length is unimportant. The cut just needs to fit the face.
