I agree with a lot of it. I've always had about 90% of my content as softcore only, with a few teaser pics thrown in here and there, and it's worked for me for some time now. I still get quite a few submission daily to my tgp that contain hardcore, but on the plus side of that, those galleries rarely contain the kind of high-quality or hi-rez content that one would normally expect to find in most pay sites.

But ya, things are getting somewhat saturated out there, and I'm as stumped as the next guy as to how to fix the problem. If we all start removing our hc content to behind AVS or member areas, other less intelligent/more greedy people will simply fill the gap and provide free hardcore. I wonder what the fallout would be if all free hardcore porn was somehow outlawed completely? Hmmm, our greatest fear may be our only salvation?

It's a tough world out there. Note to self: build AVS network asap

Sure there are tons of people giving out free content, and it may be declining profits, but the real cause of this is the amout of webmasters that exist today compared to last year thsi time or the years before..

However, pay sites offer things free sites and tgps could never provide.. Movies, live shows, high resolution images, and the convience of not having to sift through all the junk out there on the net like popups..

Free sites in general cant afford $$ to host these items, and resort usually to lower quality images, and short movie clips.

So the free site with its free images isnt destroying the paysite world at all. In fact it is probably raising the bar, in pushing these guys to provide more live shows, more movies, and more quality images..

There may be tons of free stuff out there, but with it comes the demand for more as people get boared of just plain images.. The answer is the paysite..

And with all the competition now days and with the huge growth in adult webmasters, pay sites and free sites, this is the true cause of the decrease in revenue. There is a dilution and almost a saturation of paysites now days.

For these paysites to survive, they not only need quality content, but they need quality marketing, and that only comes from the quality FREE sites with the free images..

This dynamic is quite important, and the vaule of the free sites to the paysites is overlooked. Take away the free sites, all of a sudden all the paysites are on equal playing fields competing with one another.

Granted the large pay sites would find other means of marketing to the consumer, but the dynmaic of the free site feeding the paysite can never be matched by anyother means.

And not just them, people bulding 100's clean hardcore galleries every day for them are in the same boat.

            I love thes paragraph
"When I first heard of picture posts I chuckled at the thought of it. I wondered why any webmaster would willingly buy content and then effectively post that content on another webmaster?s site. The scenario made little sense for anyone other than the owner of the picture post. It seemed readily obvious to me that trying to sell a membership to a picture post surfer was going to be about as easy as selling a bar of deodorant soap to the guy playing the banjo in the beginning of Deliverance. Picture post surfers simply have no need of your service."

              Another one
"As if picture posts weren?t bad enough, along came thumb gallery posts (TGPs) to up the quantity of free porn by about five hundred percent. Gone were the days when only the Star Trek geeks could find free porn. Gone too were the days when an AVS site was an easy sell, or when top sponsors converted traffic at a steady rate of 1:200. Even the most inept of Internet surfers can figure out how to type www.picpost.com into their browser of choice. Free porn has become a force to be reckoned with. "

for me it means i go back to the roots where i started and stop posting hardcore galleries to tgps (softcore converts much better anyway) - i put censored hardcorepics on my free sites also - do you know tgps who accept censored hc pics ??
