Over the next few days...it took that shitty shot 11 mins to get back to earth
You guys realize how far Mars is right? The thing left in July going thousands of miles and hour and just got there.
I have a hard time getting my head around the distances involved in space travel. Not to mention the speeds involved. I can't imagine the calculations involved in sending an object that far, landing on a moving target, in a relatively exact spot. No wonder NASA keeps sending my resume back!
So when are they going to send humans back to the moon ?
like they did in 1969 ?
Cuz it was such a performance, i'd love to see them doing it again
In my opinion, the moon is the place to be. We need to establish a base there before some other country does. Like China, for instance. Mars is okay for robots, but humans would be a tough, expensive investment for not much more than a photo op.

yeah the US sent humans to the moon in 1969
It's been 52 years now
and you would think in 52 years, China, Japan, UK, any major country would have gone there too.
